40 Tios - Tr. Siva RT 94
1. Take a 10-30 minute walk every day. And while you walk, smile. It is the ultimate anti-depressant.
2. Sit in silence for at least 10 minutes each day. Buy a lock if you have to.
3. Record your late night shows and get more sleep.
4. When you wake up in the morning complete the following statement, "My purpose is to____ today."
5. Live with the 3 E's -- Energy, Enthusiasm, and Empathy.
6. Watch more movies, play more games and read more books than you did in 2007.
7. Make time to practice meditation, yoga, tai chi, and prayer. They provide us with daily fuel for our busy lives.
8. Spend more time with people over the age of 70 and under the age of 6.
9. Dream more while you are awake.
10. Eat more foods that grow on trees and plants and eat less food that is manufactured in plants.
11. Drink green tea and plenty of water. Eat blueberries, wild Alaskan salmon, broccoli, almonds & walnuts .
12. Try to make at least three people smile each day.
13. Clear your clutter from your house, your car, your desk and let new and flowing energy into your life .
14. Don't waste your precious energy on gossip, energy vampires, issues of the past, negative thoughts or things you cannot control. Instead invest your energy in the positive present moment.
15. Realize that life is a school and you are here to learn. Problems are simply part of the curriculum that appear and fade away like algebra class but the lessons you learn will last a lifetime.
16. Eat breakfast like a king, lunch like a prince and dinner like a college kid.
17. Smile and laugh more. It will keep the energy vampires away.
18. Life isn't fair, but it's still good.
19. Life is too short to waste time hating anyone.
20. Don't take yourself so seriously. No one else does .
21. You don't have to win every argument. Agree to disagree.
22. Make peace with your past so it won't screw up the present.
23. Don't compare your life to others'. You have no idea what their journey is all about .
24. Burn the candles, use the nice bed sheets, Don't save it for a special occasion. Today is special.
25. No one is in charge of your happiness except you.
26. Frame every so-called disaster with these words: "In five years, will this matter?"
27. Forgive everyone for everything.
28. What other people think of you is none of your business .
29. Time heals almost everything. Give time, time .
30. However good or bad a situation is, it will change. So stop complaining about the weather, the job, the rents etc etc
31. Your job won't take care of you when you are sick. Your friends will. Stay in touch.
32. Get rid of anything that isn't useful, beautiful or joyful.
33. Envy is a waste of time. You already have all you need.
34. The best is yet to come.
35. No matter how you feel, get up, dress up and show up.
36. Do the right thing!
37. Call your family often.
38. Each night before you go to bed complete the following statements: " am thankful for ___." Today I accomplished ____.
39. Remember that you are too blessed to be stressed.
40. Enjoy the ride. Remember that this is not Disney World and you certainly don't want a fast pass. You only have one ride through life so make the most of it and enjoy the ride.

The Mind of Unmarried South Indian Man - Tr. Siva RT 94
The travails of single South Indian men of conservative upbringing ...This is hilarious... you will laugh all through this if you get it... Subject: "The travails of single South Indian men of conservativeupbringing" OR "Why we don't get any..."Yet another action packed weekend in Mumbai, full of fun, frolic andintrospection. I have learnt many things. For example having money whennone of your friends have any is as good as not having any. And afterspending much time in movie theatres, cafes and restaurants I havegathered many insights into the endless monotony that is the love life of south Indian men. What I have unearthed is most disheartening.Disheartening because comprehension of these truths will not change ourstatus anytime soon. However there is also cause for joy. We never stood a chance anyway. What loads the dice against virile, gallant, welleducated, good looking, sincere mallus and tams? (Kanadus were onceamong us, but Bangalore has changed all that.) Our futures are shot tohell as soon as our parents bestow upon us names that are anything but alluring. I cannot imagine a more foolproof way of making sure the childremains single till classified advertisements or that maternal uncle inSan Francisco thinks otherwise.Name him "Parthasarathy Venkatachalapthy" and his inherent capability to combat celibacy is obliterated before he could even talk. He will growto be known as Partha. Before he knows, his smart, seductively namednorthy classmates start calling him Paratha. No woman in their rightminds will go anyway near poor Parthasarathy. His investment banking jobdoesn't help either. His employer loves him though. He has no personallife you see.By this time the Sanjay Singhs and Bobby Khans from his class have small businesses of their own and spend 60% of their lives in discos and pubs. The remaining 40% is spent coochicooing with leather and denim cladmuses in their penthouse flats on Nepean Sea Road. Business is safely in the hands of the Mallu manager. After all with a name like Blossom Babykutty he can't use his 30000salary anywhere. Blossom gave up on society when in school theyautomatically enrolled him for Cookery Classes. Along with all the girls.Yes my dear reader, nomenclature is the first nail in a coffin ofneglect and hormonal pandemonium. In a kinder world they would just namethe poor southern male child and throw him off the balcony. "Yes Appa we have named him Goundamani..." THUD. Life would have been less kinder tohim anyway. If all the women the Upadhyays, Kumars, Pintos and, god forbid, the Sensand Roys in the world have met were distributed amongst the Arunkumars, Vadukuts and Chandramogans we would all be merry casanovas with 3 to 4pretty things at each arm. But alas it is not to be. Of course the southIndian women have no such issues. They have names which are like sweet poetry to the ravenous northie hormone tanks. Picture this: "Welcome, and this is my family. This is my daughter Poorni (what a sweet name!!)and my son Ponnalagusamy (er.. hello..). ." Cyanide would not be fast enough for poor Samy.Nothing Samy does will help him. He can pump iron, drive fast cars andwear snazzy clothes, but against a braindead dude called Arjun Singhaniahe has as much chance of getting any as a Benedictine Monk in a Saharan Seminary.Couple this with the other failures that have plagued our existence. Anyattempt at spiking hair with gel fails miserably. In an hour I have acrown of greasy, smelly fibrous mush. My night ends there. However the northy just has to scream "Wakaw!!!" and you have to peel the women offhim to let him breathe. In a disco while we can manage the medium hip shake with neck curls, once the Bhangra starts pumping we are as fluid as cement and gravel in a mixer. Karan Kapoor or Jatin Thapar in the low cut jeans with chaddistrap showing and see through shirt throws his elbows perfectly, thecynosure of all attention. The women love a man who digs pasta and fondue. But why do they not see the simple pleasures of curd rice and coconut chutney? When poorSenthilnathan opens his tiffin box in the office lunchroom his femalecoworkers just disappear when they see the tamarind rice and poppadums. They have all rematerialised around Bobby Singh who has ordered in Pizza and Garlic bread. (And they have the gall to talk of foreign origin.)How can a man like me brought up in roomy lungis and oversized polyestershirts ever walk the walk in painted on jeans (that makes a bigimpression) and neon yellow rib hugging t shirts? All I can do is don myworn "comfort fit" jeans and floral shirt. Which is pretty low on theLook at me lady" scale, just above fig leaf skirt and feather headgear a la caveman, and a mite below Khakhi Shirt over a red t-shirt and baggykhakhi pants and white trainers a la Rajni in "Badshah".Sociologically too the tam or mallu man is severely sidelined. An average tam stud stays in a house with, on average, three grandparents, three sets of uncles and aunts, and over 10 children. Not the idealatmosphere for some intimacy and some full throated "WHOSE YOURDADDY!!!" at the 3 in the morning. The mallu guy of course is almostalways in the Gulf working alone on some onshore oil rig in the desert.Rheumatic elbows me thinks.Alas dear friends we are not just meant to set the nights on fire. We are just not built to be "The Ladies Man". The black man has hip hop,the white man has rock, the southie guy only has idlis and tomato rasamor an NRI account in South Indian Bank Ernakulam Branch. Alas as our destiny was determined in one fell swoop by our nomenclature, so willour future be.A nice arranged little love story. But the agony of course does not endthere. On the first night, as the stud sits on his bed finally within touching distance and whispers his sweet desires into her delectable ear, she blushes, turns around and whispers back "But Amma has said onlyon second saturdays..."
Must Read - Tr. Prem Ganesh - RT 162
I cleared my throat, and picked up the bowl. 'Sindu, darling, why don't you take a few mouthful of this curd rice? Just for Dad's sake, dear.My wife called, 'How long will you be with that newspaper? Will you come here and make your darling daughter eat her food?
Sindu softened a bit, and wiped her tears with the back of her hands. "Ok, Dad. I will eat - not just a few mouthfuls, but the whole lot of this. But, you should...' Sindu hesitated. 'Dad, if I eat this entire curd Rice, will you give me whatever I ask for?'
'Promise'. I covered the pink soft hand extended by my daughter with mine, and clinched the deal. Now I became a bit anxious. 'Sindu dear, you shouldn't insist on getting a computer or any such expensive items. Dad does not have that kind of money right now. Ok?'
'No, Dad. I do not want anything expensive'. Slowly and painfully, she finished eating the whole quantity.
I was silently angry with my wife and my mother for forcing my child to eat something that she detested.
After the ordeal was through, Sindu came to me with her eyes wide with expectation. All our attention was on her.
'Dad, I want to have my head shaved off, this Sunday!' was her demand.
'Atrocious!' shouted my wife, 'A girl child having her head shaved off? Impossible!' 'Never in our family!' My mother rasped. 'She has been watching too much of television. Our culture is getting totally spoiled with these TV programs!' 'Sindu darling, why don't you ask for something else? We will be sad seeing you with a clean-shaven head.'
'Please, Sindu, why don't you try to understand our feelings?' I tried to plead with her.
'Dad, you saw how difficult it was for me to eat that Curd Rice'. Sindu was in tears. 'And you promised to grant me whatever I ask for. Now, you are going back on your words. Was it not you who told me the story of King Harishchandra, and its moral that we should honor our promises no matter what?'
It was time for me to call the shots. 'Our promise must be kept.'
'Are you out your mind?' chorused my mother and wife.
'No. If we go back on our promises, she will never learn to honor her own. Sindu, your wish will be fulfilled.'
With her head clean-shaven, Sindu had a round-face, and her eyes looked big and beautiful.
On Monday morning, I dropped her at her school. It was a sight to watch my hairless Sindu walking towards her classroom. She turned around and waved. I waved back with a smile. Just then, a boy alighted from a car, and shouted, 'Sinduja, please wait for me!' What struck me was the hairless head of that boy. 'May be, that is the in-stuff', I thought.
'Sir, your daughter Sinduja is great indeed!' Without introducing herself, a lady got out of the car, and continued,' that boy who is walking along with your daughter is my son Harish. He is suffering from... Leukemia.' She paused to muffle her sobs. Harish could not attend the school for the whole of the last month. He lost all his hair due to the side effects of the chemotherapy... He refused to come back to school fearing the unintentional but cruel teasing of the schoolmates. 'Sinduja visited him last week, and promised him that she will take care of the teasing issue. But, I never imagined she would sacrifice her lovely hair for the sake of my son! Sir, you and your wife are blessed to have such a noble soul as your daughter.'
I stood transfixed and then, I wept. 'My little Angel, you are teaching me how self-less real love is!'
The happiest people on this planet are not those who live on their own terms but are those who change their terms for others & inspire others. we definitely have a lot of lessons to learn from our little ones.......we need to keep our ears and eyes open and cherish every little thing.......you will never know when you miss out if you don"t............ Hv a lovely day!!

Top Gun – The Symphony of 95.
The annual Inter-Table event of MMRT 95, TOP GUN is held on Jan 26th every year. It was started in 2001 and this is the eight year in succession that we are hosting this event.
From the time this event was started, it has added in strength and the number of events has increased every year. The first two years saw just two events- volleyball for tablers and throwball for ladies. The subsequent years saw the number of events grow dramatically.
This year we had Volleyball, Throw ball, Sand castle Building, Beer Drinking, Arm Wrestling, and Tug of war for ladies. Each and every tabler of MMRT95 contributes to this event and takes up his job passionately. The event moves like clockwork and can aptly be nicknamed as The Symphony of 95.
The event started at 5.00 pm and rocked till 11 pm. Our Nat. Pres. Tr.Ajay Handa specially came down form Hubli for this event and MMRT95 was honored by his presence. He was the chief guest and our Area 2 Chairman Tr. Rajesh Gupta was the guest of honour.
Each match in the competition was fought hard with every point being a hard fought battle. Eventually Table 3 were the worthy winners in volleyball and were the TOPGUNS this year.

Our Inter-Table convener Tr. Naresh Nichani gave his heart and soul this year and the results were there for everyone to see.

HR Event - RT 181 - Tr. Rajiv Shah

A REPORT ON A HR SESSION OF MKRT 181 ON 31ST JAN '08
Being the HR Convenor of MKRT 181 and a RTI Trainer I wanted to do the first HR session for this tabling year differently from what we ever did before in our Table. Half way down the tabling year I finally managed to put together what I wanted with the help of my Chairman Tr.Rajiv and HT.Sanjay Ramaswami. I managed to get a professional named G.L.Sampoorna a psychologist and a Trainer with 27 years of experience working with over 20,000 people nationally and internationally, agree to do a session for us on "Self Growth- by being your own friend". She is the founder of 'Oneiric' (-relating to Dreams), a center for psychological assistance and life skills development. Oneiric focuses on wellness of the body, mind and soul, creating holistic personal growth, enabling people to connect to their inner self and lead fulfilled lives. Her workshops and counseling are an amalgamation of techniques, methods and processes that are multi-disciplinary and bring together the best of the east and the west. For example, a workshop may include some or all of the following – conventional methods such as psychology, meditation, physical exercise; contemporary methods such as art, music, dance, drama, visualization, nutrition; innovative methods such as gardening, play, and laughter. Besides leading workshops, she is committed to expanding her reach through her 'Train the trainer' programs. A complete list of the courses offered is available on http://www.glsampoorna.com.sampoorna/ has published articles and is currently authoring two books and developing multi media programs. Her CD of guided journeys will be available commercially by spring of 2008.
Oneiric – A catalyst to improve lives and provide a sense of purpose to fellow humans. Yesterday the 31st of January 2008 with only 24 hrs of prior planning depending on GLS's availability and pressure on doing a HR session ASAP for the table, we could put together a session on the topic "Self Growth by being your own friend" at a venue called Andhra Club in Chennai. That evening in our neighboring hall there was a party on and was loud all through out our program. The call time to all fellow Trs and guests was 7.45 pm and as popularly known as RTIT (Here the last T implies Time), we started our session only at 8.45pm an hour later. The session started of with a few formalities recognizing the presence of a few eminent personalities in the Tabling and Ladies Circle fraternity who were inside the hall and of course an introduction of the speaker G.L.Sampoorna (GLS).I think it was 9pm by the time GLS got the mike in her hand which she had been waiting for almost an hour. She started of her session by speaking about how to enjoy a wonderful life using universal principles of well-being and bringing these simple practices into ones daily living and experience self growth. Then she spoke about NLP (Neuro Linguistic Program) and what its benefits were if learnt and followed and then she explained about the following Affirmations like-
"I love and approve of myself", "I am willing to change", "I trust life" and " I am safe". She
explained to the group how one could say this to their own selves at different times of the day and
what change it could bring in ones lives. She explained the best way to start is by looking and
speaking to your own reflection on the mirror at the start of the day. She gave us a couple of real
life examples relating to how some people she knew got benefited by following this practice.
I being the HR convenor was only busy trying to feel and understand whether the diversified
crowd in the hall was actually concentrating on the session because as mentioned earlier we had a
lot of noise from the neighboring hall. Let me tell you to my surprise people were really glued with
deep concentration on the session being conducted by GLS. I then understood how good she was
at her job and had a feeling that this session will definitely be a successful one and so it turned out
to be.
She next called our Chairman Rajiv and told him to be a volunteer for a practical form of
understanding the control of mind on our soul and how the body and mind react to negative and
positive thoughts. After this demonstration she made the whole group divide in to partners and
experience the same and believe me people had fun and a few were surprised on this theory. Later
GLS continued her live session on the topic -
Awareness
She instructed us to sit or lie down in a comfortable position. Become aware of our breathing. Feel
the air inside our nostrils as we inhale and exhale. She then asked us to notice the sensations
inside our nostrils as we breathe in and as we breathe out. Here we should not change anything,
simply stay aware of our own reality. These breathing exercises made many of us feel so relaxed
and understand how powerful such breathing techniques are and that they can soothe ones
stressed mind. This breathing exercise should be done for 3 to 5 minutes and with this your mind
gets relaxed which normally it would experience the same with a couple of hours of sleep. She told
us that this would help resolve issues of sleeplessness, concentration for your work / studies etc.
She then spoke about how giving out sound can also relax ones mind and make you more efficient
in this stressful rat race we are in.
Sound work
She told us to take a deep breath and as we exhale, allow a sigh to pass through our lips. First
silently, with just the sound of the air. Next repeat it with our voice riding on the breath as we let
out the sigh. Hearing ourself sounding out an 'aaah'. Let me tell you, this was far more relaxing to
the mind.
By now it was already a half hour session down and the time was 9.30pm and I was surprised to
find most of the participants all geared up for a longer session if possible and very involved. By
this time a fellow tabler and I separately had already paid a couple of visits to the neighboring hall
requesting them not to make such loud noises. Of course we were not very successful.
GLS then took us in to one of the best parts of this session-
Visualisation
She told us to Sit comfortably, closing our eyes, relaxing our body and mind and noticing the
noise from the side hall she told us "Just delete those sounds next to you and you will be ok" and
friends the way she said it, it was magical because believe me when we followed that instruction
with our eyes closed and mind focused we just could not hear anything other than what she was
saying and then she told us to Imagine a beautiful and natural surrounding. It could be a place
you have visited or a place you imagine. Allow this place to embody a feeling of peace, safety and
love. See everything in this place, hear all the sounds of this place, touch things here and become
aware of the smells. Taste something here if you can. Let everything that you see, hear, smell,
touch or taste only enhance your feelings of safety and love. Simply allow all that peace, love and
safety to fill up your body, your mind and your whole being. Allow this peace to permeate through
to every cell in your body. Stay in this state as long as you wish. And know that you can get back to
this place of your own creation anytime you want. It is always present, waiting for you, your own
special place. When you are ready, you can open your eyes and come back.
Knock Knock….. get up ! This was the state where many of us were really in .Most of us just took
off in to our own imagination worlds and we enjoyed every bit of it. GLS told us that this is a very
good way to rejuvenate ones self when depressed or fully stressed out.
Oh oh.. 10 pm it was time to stop the session and so we did and again guys to my surprise when
asked for feed back from the participants at the end, the most common feed back of all when
asked about the program was -
"We wished it was a longer session"
"We want more of these kind of sessions with the right ambiance" and most impressive one of the
lot was "Touch and Go- as it was a taste and by itself an affirmation to do a longer program"
and when asked about the speaker -
"Positive Aura all around you- very Infectious"
"Very very impressive / Awesome / She managed to convey complicated things in very simple
ways with simple solutions and techniques"
Guys this feed back made my day as a facilitator to this organization. It was not only a good
learning session but also a different kind of a fellowship within our own table and also with other
Area 2 Trs and Crs. As we all know that we at RTI HR are here to exchange solutions and
techniques to better our lives. Let us do more of such sessions and help each other by sharing
more often our own knowledge and our professional contacts to facilitate better being. This can be
achieved only by doing more and more HR sessions where we can call as many people as possible
from our fraternity and help each other like we in 181 took this initiative of inviting a few circlers
and Tablers of Area 2 just to make them understand that this is how we understand HR. So,
friends we had a great time and we were totally 32 participants and the list is as mentioned below-
List of Partcipants who attended this session
10 Trs and 1 HT of MKRT 181 and 6 ladies of 181

Greetings from 162.
I must thank all the members of Area 2 for being a part of yesterdays program.
It was a pleasure to host the prestigious Track Day event yesterday. The success was felt with the presence of more than 265 people.
I must thank my Tablers & all members of Table 1 for having taken so much interest & enthusiasm in coordinating & making the event a grand success especially Table 1 Chairman Sethu for joining hands with me to organize the Program.
I also thank Siva for being the Track Day Coordinator & ensuring that the Event was conducted well along Ayub Khan & the other Marshals.
As for my own Tablers, I must thank Vice Chairman Darshan who arranged BMW to partially sponsor the event. Their presence made the event more exciting along with the other fancy cars of our Tablers & ofcourse Siva's monster bike.
Ofcourse my gratitude to AHT Satish Joopz for his involvement & perseverance in making this event happen like a breeze & Sunil our Fellowship Convenor for ensuring that we all stuck to our plans & perfect execution. We dearly missed u FC.
I also thank our Square Legs for having attended with much enthusiasm especially "Drag King" Pappu for having showing us all how to race …..City style. I am eagerly awaiting your professional snaps......pls send asap as I hv to fwd to all the members.
As for the food, it was so tasty that we had a shortage. I saw most of the Tablers going in for 2nd & 3rd helpings. My apologies to those guests who left without kaana. However I did arrange some extra biryani & drinks as soon as I found out about the shortage.
As for the races, we realized that all the members enjoyed reving their cars…burning their clutches & gas. Well when the road burns the rubber I guess nothing beats the adrenaline rush the speed has to offer.
Sunday was a very exciting day for me as it was for all my friends. Looking forward to yet another day @ the Tracks.
Till then lets keep the engines warm. Vrrrrrrrrrroooooooooooooooooommmmmmm
R'gards

VERY INTERESTING HISTORY!
At the very beginning of his book, 'The Nehru Dynasty', astrologer K.N. Rao mentions the names of Jawaharlal's father and grandfather.
Jawaharlal's father was believed to be Motilal and Motilal's father was one Gangadhar Nehru.
We all know that Jawaharlal's only daughter was Indira Priyadarshini Nehru; Kamala Nehru was her mother, who died in Switzerland of tuberculosis. She was totally against Indira's proposed marriage with Feroze. Why? No one tells us that!
Now, who is this Feroze? We are told by many that he was the son of the family grocer. The grocer supplied wines, etc. to Anand Bhavan (previously known as Ishrat Manzil)
What was the family grocer's name?
One frequently hears that Rajiv Gandhi's grandfather was Pandit Nehru. But then we all know that everyone has two grandfathers, the paternal and the maternal grandfathers.
In fact, the paternal grandfather is deemed to be the more important grandfather in most societies.
Why is it then, nowhere, we find Rajiv Gandhi's paternal grandfather's name? It appears that the reason is simply. Rajiv Gandhi's paternal grandfather was a Muslim gentleman from the Junagadh area of Gujarat.
This Muslim grocer by the name of Nawab Khan, had married a Parsi woman after converting her to Islam.
This is the source where from the myth of Rajiv being a Parsi was derived. Rajiv's father Feroze, was Feroze Khan before he married Indira, against Kamala Nehru's wishes.
Feroze's mother's family name was Ghandy, often associated with Parsis and this was changed to Gandhi, sometime before his wedding with Indira, by an affidavit.
The fact of the matter is that (and this fact can be found in many writings) Indira was very lonely. Chased out of the Shantiniketan University by Guru Dev Rabindranath himself for misdemeanour, the lonely girl was all by herself, while father Jawaharlal was busy with politics, pretty women and illicit sex, the mother was in hospital.
Feroze Khan, the grocer's son was then in England and he was quite sympathetic to Indira and soon enough she changed her religion, became a Muslim woman and married Feroze Khan in a London mosque.
Nehru was not happy, Kamala was dead already or dying. The news of this marriage eventually reached Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi (better known as Mahatma Gandhi) .
Gandhi urgently called Nehru and practically ordered him to ask the young man to change his name from Khan to Gandhi. It had nothing to do with change of religion, from Islam to Hinduism for instance. It was just a case of a change of name by an affidavit. And so Feroze Khan became Feroze Gandhi.
The surprising thing is that the apostle of truth, the old man soon to be declared India's Mahatma and the 'Father of the Nation' didn't mention this game of his in the famous book, 'My Experiments with Truth'. Why?
When they returned to India, amock 'Vedic marriage' was instituted for public consumption.
On this subject, writes M.O. Mathai (a long-time Private Secretary of Nehru) in his renowned (but now suppressed by the GOI! ) 'Reminiscences of the Nehru Age' on page 94, second paragraph: ' For some inexplicable reason, Nehru allowed the marriage to be performed according to Vedic rites in 1942. An inter-religious and inter-caste marriage under Vedic rites at that time was not valid in law. To be legal, it had to be a civil marriage .'
It's a known fact that after Rajiv's birth Indira and Feroze lived separately, but they were not divorced. Feroze used to harass Nehru frequently for money and also interfere in Nehru's political activities. Nehru got fed up and left instructions not to allow him into the Prime Minister's residence Trimurthi Bhavan.
Mathai writes that the death of Feroze came as a relief to Nehru and Indira. The death of Feroze in 1960 before he could consolidate his own political forces, is itself a mystery. Feroze had even planned to remarry.
Those who try to keep tabs on our leaders in spite of all the suppressions and deliberate misinformation, are aware of the fact that the second son of Indira (or Mrs.Feroze Khan) known as Sanjay Gandhi was not the son of Feroze. He was the son of another Muslim gentleman, Mohammad Yunus.
Here in passing, we might mention that the second son was originally named Sanjiv. It rhymed with Rajiv, the elder brother's name. It was changed to Sanjay when he was arrested by the British police in England and his passport impounded, for having stolen a car.
Krishna Menon was then India's High Commissioner in London. He offered to issue another passport to the felon who changed his name to Sanjay. Incidentally, Sanjay's marriage with the Sikh girl Menaka (now they call her Maneka for Indira Gandhi found the name of mythological Lord Indra's Court dancer rather offensive !!) took place quite surprisingly in Mohammad Yunus's house in New Delhi
The marriage with Menaka who was a model (She had model for Bombay Dyeing wearing just a towel) was not so ordinary either. Sanjay was notorious in getting unwed young women pregnant. Menaka too was rendered pregnant by Sanjay.
It was then that her father, Colonel Anand, threatened Sanjay with dire consequences if he did not marry her daughter and that did the trick.
Sanjay married Menaka. It was widely reported in Delhi at the time that Mohammad Yunus was unhappy at the marriage of Sanjay with Menaka. Apparently he had wanted to get him married with a Muslim girl of his choice. It was Mohammad Yunus who cried the most when Sanjay died in the plane accident.
In Yunus's book, 'Persons, Passions & Politics' one discovers that baby Sanjay had been circumcised following Islamic custom, although the reason stated was phimosis. It was always believed that Sanjay used to blackmail Indira Gandhi and due to this she used to turn a blind eye when Sanjay Gandhi started to run the country as though it were his personal freedom. Was he black mailing her with the secret of who his real father was? When the news of Sanjay's death reached Indira Gandhi, the first thing she wanted to know was about the bunch of keys which Sanjay had with him.
Nehru was no less a player in producing bastards. At least one case is very graphically described by M.O. Mathai in his 'Reminiscences of the Nehru Age', page 206.
Mathai writes:
'In the autumn of 1948 a young woman from Benares arrived in New Delhi as a sanyasini named Shraddha Mata (an assumed and not a real name). She was a Sanskrit scholar well versed in the ancient Indian scriptures and mythology. People, including MPs, thronged to her to hear her discourses. One day S.D. Upadhyaya, Nehru's old employee, brought a letter in Hindi from Shraddha Mata. Nehru gave her an interview in the PM's house. As she departed, I noticed (Mathai is speaking here) that she was young, shapely and beautiful. Meetings of Nehru with her became rather frequent, mostly after he finished his work at night. During one of Nehru's visits to Lucknow, Shraddha Mata turned up there and Upadhyaya brought a letter from her as usual. Nehru sent her the reply and she visited Nehru at midnight...' Suddenly Shraddha Mata disappeared.
In November 1949 a convent in Bangalore sent a decent looking person to Delhi with a bundle of letters. He said that a young woman from northern India arrived at the convent a few months ago and gave birth to a baby boy. She refused to divulge her name or give any particulars about herself. She left the convent as soon as she was well enough to move out but left the child behind.
She however forgot to take with her a small cloth bundle in which, among other things, several letters in Hindi were found. The Mother Superior, who was a foreigner, had the letters examined and was told they were from the Prime Minister.
The person who brought the letters surrendered them...'I (Mathai) made discreet inquiries repeatedly about the boy but failed to get a clue about his whereabouts. Convents in such matters are extremely tight-lipped and secretive.
Had I succeeded in locating the boy, I would have adopted him. He must have grown up as a Catholic Christian blissfully ignorant of who his father was.'
Coming back to Rajiv Gandhi, we all know now that he changed his so called Parsi religion to become a Catholic to marry Sania Maino of Turin, Italy. Rajiv became Roberto. His daughter's name is Bianca and son's name is Raul. Quite cleverly the same names are presented to the people of India as Priyanka and Rahul.
What is amazing is the extent of our people's ignorance in such matters. The press conference that Rajiv Gandhi gave in London after taking over as Prime minister of India was very informative. In this press conference, Rajiv boasted that he was NOT a Hindu but a Parsi. Mind you, speaking of the Parsi religion, he had no Parsi ancestor at all. His grandmother (father's mother) had turned Muslim after having abandoned the Parsi religion to marry Nawab Khan.
It is the western press that waged a blitz of misinformation on behalf of Rajiv. From the New York Times to the Los Angeles Times and the Washington Post, the big guns raised Rajiv to heaven. The children's encyclopaedias recorded that Rajiv was a qualified Mechanical Engineer from the revered University of Cambridge. No doubt US kids are among the most misinformed in the world today! The reality is that in all three years of his tenure at that University Rajiv had not passed a single exam. He had therefore to leave Cambridge without a certificate.
Sonia too had the same benevolent treatment. She was stated to be a student in Cambridge. Such a description is calculated to mislead Indians. She was a student in Cambridge all right, but not of the University of Cambridge, but of one of those fly by night language schools where foreign students come to learn English. Sonia was working as an 'au pair' girl in Cambridge and trying to learn English at the same time. And surprise of surprises, Rajiv was even cremated as per Vedic rites in full view of India's public.
This is the Nehru dynasty that India worships and now a foreigner leads a prestigious national party because of just one qualification being married into the Nehru family. Maneka Gandhi, though Indian, herself is being accepted by the non-Congress parties not because she was a former model or an animal lover, but for her links to the Nehru family.
Saying that an Italian (or any foreigner) should not lead India will amount to narrow mindedness, but if Sania Maino (now Sonia) had served India like, say, Mother Teresa or Annie Besant, i.e. in any way on her own rights, then all Indians should be proud of her just as how proud we are of Mother Teresa. OR
Saying that any other party which comes to rule India is better is again equally worse.
The point is Indians who nominate the people to stand in these elections; and the people who vote their rulers (i.e. the authorities) must know that truth eventually come out some day. Don’t allow the famous land of India (our motherland) to be looked down by others.
Cancer - An Update - Interesting reading - Tr. Kaushik RT 30
AFTER YEARS OF TELLING PEOPLE CHEMOTHERAPY IS THE ONLY WAY TO TRY (TRY THE KEY WORD) AND ELIMINATE
CANCER, JOHN HOPKINS IS FINALLY STARTING TO TELL YOU THERE IS AN ALTERNATIVE WAY .
1. Every person has cancer cells in the body. These cancer cells do not show up in the standard tests until they have multiplied to a few billion. When doctors tell cancer patients that there are no more cancer cells in their bodies after treatment, it just means the tests are unable to detect the cancer cells because they have not reached the detectable size.
2. Cancer cells occur between 6 to more than 10 times in a person's lifetime.
3. When the person's immune system is strong the cancer cells will be destroyed and prevented from multiplying and forming tumors.
4. When a person has cancer it indicates the person has multiple nutritional deficiencies. These could be due to genetic, environmental, food and lifestyle factors.
5. To overcome the multiple nutritional deficiencies, changing diet and including supplements will strengthen the immune system.
6. Chemotherapy involves poisoning the rapidly-growing cancer cells and also destroys rapidly-growing healthy cells in the bone marrow, gastro-intestinal tract etc, and can cause organ damage, like liver, kidneys, heart, lungs etc.
7. Radiation while destroying cancer cells also burns, scars and damages healthy cells, tissues and organs.
8. Initial treatment with chemotherapy and radiation will often reduce tumor size. However prolonged use of chemotherapy and radiation do not result in more tumor destruction.
9. When the body has too much toxic burden from chemotherapy and radiation the immune system is either compromised or destroyed, hence the person can succumb to various kinds of infections and complications.
10. Chemotherapy and radiation can cause cancer cells to mutate and become resistant and difficult to destroy. Surgery can also cause cancer cells to spread to other sites.
11. An effective way to battle cancer is to starve the cancer cells by not feeding it with the foods it needs to multiply.
CANCER CELLS FEED ON:
a. Sugar is a cancer-feeder .
By cutting off sugar it cuts off one important food supply to the cancer cells. Sugar substitutes like Nutrasweet, Equal, Spoonful, etc are made with Aspartame and it is harmful. A better natural substitute would be Manuka honey or molasses but only in very small amounts. Table salt has a chemical added to make it white in colour. Better alternative is Bragg's aminos or sea salt.
b. Milk causes the body to produce mucus , especially in the gastro-intestinal tract. Cancer feeds on mucus.
By cutting off milk and substituting with unsweetened soya milk cancer cells are being starved.
c. Cancer cells thrive in an acid environment .
A meat-based diet is acidic and it is best to eat fish, and a little chicken rather than beef or pork. Meat also contains livestock antibiotics, growth hormones and parasites, which are all harmful, especially to people with cancer.
d. A diet made of 80% fresh vegetables and juice, whole grains, seeds, nuts and a little fruits help put the body into an alkaline environment .
About 20% can be from cooked food including beans. Fresh vegetable juices provide live enzymes that are easily absorbed and reach down to cellular levels within 15 minutes to nourish and enhance growth of healthy cells. To obtain live enzymes for building healthy cells try and drink fresh vegetable juice (most vegetables including bean sprouts) and eat some raw vegetables 2 or 3 times a day. Enzymes are destroyed at temperatures of 104 degrees F (40 degrees C).
e. Avoid coffee, tea, and chocolate, which have high caffeine.
Green tea is a better alternative and has cancer-fighting properties. Water- best to drink purified water, or filtered, to avoid known toxins and heavy metals in tap water. Distilled water is acidic, avoid it.
12. Meat protein is difficult to digest
and requires a lot of digestive enzymes. Undigested meat remaining in the intestines become putrified and leads to more toxic buildup.
13. Cancer cell walls have a tough protein covering. By refraining from or eating less meat it frees more enzymes to attack the protein walls of cancer cells and allows the body's killer cells to destroy the cancer cells.
14. Some supplements build up the immune system (IP6, Flor ssence,Essiac, anti-oxidants, vitamins, minerals, EFAs etc.) to enable the body's own killer cells to destroy cancer cells. Other supplements like vitamin E are known to cause apoptosis, or programmed cell death, the body's normal method of disposing of damaged, unwanted, or unneeded cells.
15. Cancer is a disease of the mind, body, and spirit. A proactive and positive spirit will help the cancer warrior be a survivor. Anger, un forgiveness and bitterness put the body into a stressful and acidic environment. Learn to have a loving and forgiving spirit. Learn to relax and enjoy life.
16. Cancer cells cannot thrive in an oxygenated environment. Exercising daily, and deep breathing help to get more oxygen down to the cellular level. Oxygen therapy is another means employed to destroy cancer cells.
PLEASE READ ON
1. No plastic containers in micro.
2. No water bottles in freezer.
3. No plastic wrap in microwave.
Johns Hopkins has recently sent this out in its newsletters. This information is being circulated at Walter Reed Army Medical Center as well. A dioxin chemical causes cancer, especially breast cancer. Dioxins are highly poisonous to the cells of our bodies. Don't freeze your plastic bottles with water in them as this releases dioxins from the plastic. Recently, Dr. Edward Fujimoto, Wellness Program Manager at Castle Hospital was on a TV program to explain this health hazard.
He talked about dioxins and how bad they are for us. He said that we should not be heating our food in the microwave using plastic containers. This especially applies to foods that contain fat. He said that the combination of fat, high heat, and plastics releases dioxin into the food and ultimately into the cells of the body. Instead, he recommends using glass, such as CorningWare, Pyrex or ceramic containers for heating food. You get the same results, only without the dioxin. So such things as TV dinners, instant ramen and soups, etc., should be removed from the container and heated in something else. Paper isn't bad but you don't know what is in the paper. It's just safer to use tempered glass, Corning Ware, etc. He reminded us that a while ago some of the fast food restaurants moved away from the foam containers to paper. The dioxin problem is one of the reasons.
Also, he pointed out that plastic wrap, such as Saran, is just as dangerous when placed over foods to be cooked in the microwave. As the food is nuked, the high heat causes poisonous toxins to actually melt out of the plastic wrap and drip into the food. Cover food with a paper towel instead.
